Esther Janet-age 99, of Flint, passed away Saturday, at McLaren Select Specialty Hospital-Flint. He loved spending free time with family and friends camping, canoeing, kayaking and tubing. She was also on the committee to bring the first Apple Fest to Belding, held multiple PTO positions while the kids were in school, and was a faithful member of the Community of Christ Church in Grand Rapids and more recently in Greenville. Jean was also active in volunteering, becoming the first registered Tiger Cub leader in the area along with her husband, Keith. Not only was she a caring and supportive mom to her own children, she always welcomed the neighborhood kids in for snacks and fun. She was born in Ionia, Michigan, on September 27, 1952, daughter of Jack C. Celia "Jean" (Baylis) Boroff, age 69, of Belding, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Spectrum Health-Blodgett Hospital in East Grand Rapids.
